Execution of works A7 Highway Ploiești – Buzău, Lot 1, Dumbrava – Mizil, km 0 + 000 – km 21 + 000

The object of this project is the execution of lot 1 of the Ploiești – Buzău Highway, being the second contract signed out of the 13 lots of the entire A7 Ploiești – Pașcani project.

The contract concluded between C.N.A.I.R. S.A. and the JV Pizzarotti & C. S.p.A. – Pizzarotti S.A. – RETTER Projectmanagement S.R.L. has a value of 1.468.550.055,22 Lei without VAT, is being funded through PNRR program and the execution period is of 20 months.

Lot 1 Dumbrava-Mizil km 0 + 000 – km 21 + 000 has a length of 21 km and includes the construction of 14 bridges and a passage of a high technical complexity, 550 m long. The contract execution period of 20 month is completed by the 10-year warranty period for the executed works.

We are proud to be part of the most advanced of all the major road infrastructure projects for the region of Moldova – A7 “Moldova” Highway – which has almost 440 km, from Ploiesti (Dumbrava / A3) to Siret, at the border with Ukraine. The project should absorb most of Romania’s PNRR funds, as part of the EU’s short-term plan to revive post-pandemic economies. One of the essential conditions is that the projects shall be completed by 2026.
